Psalm 27:4 - One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

David expresses his desire and longing to know God more deeply. He understood the significance of being in God’s presence and yearned to experience Him even more in his own life. What about you? Do you want to know God better? Do you desire to be in His presence? Do you wish to understand Him more fully? You can!

There is nothing more rewarding than deepening your relationship with God. Spending time in His presence will enrich your life in ways you cannot imagine.

Psalm 63:1 - O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

When you are in God's presence, He refreshes your heart, mind, and spirit. Throughout the scriptures, we are encouraged to seek the Lord. Seeking the Lord is a responsibility we must embrace. The Bible assures us that when we seek Him, we will find Him.

Matthew 7:7 -“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

You will never experience more of God unless you actively seek Him. In this life, we often chase many things that seem important—careers, money, status, and various other pursuits. However, the Word of God reminds us that these things are temporary; they do not last forever. Therefore, you must choose to desire more of God in your life.

When you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your relationship with Him will endure for all eternity. We shouldn't become so caught up in the fleeting aspects of life that we forget their impermanence.

God reveals Himself to those who seek Him. The Bible instructs us to seek the Lord consistently.

Isaiah 55:6 - Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.

We are all given a finite amount of time on earth. Now is the time to seek the Lord; today is the day to search for Him before it’s too late.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Be like David and let your heart long for God. Take time to converse with Him in prayer. Spend time in His Word to understand His will. You will be thankful you did.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I  desire to seek you today. I want more of you. I want to be where you are, and I want to dwell in your presence.  Lord, reveal yourself unto me.  Satisfy my heart with good things today, change me, and make me more like you.  In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen
